The task is the complete indexing and scientific processing of the Old High German vocabulary of all over-deliveries, with documentation of all variants and document locations, as basis for further philological research of vocabulary in literary history, linguistic and cultural history.
The document archive contains a quarter of a million glossy documents from 1250 manuscripts, one of which a large number beyond the formerly known glossy manuscripts have been newly found. In addition, more than 6,000 previously unknown individual glosses from 200 manuscripts are available. These Documentation based on a precise examination of the manuscripts and also grammatical provisions and other semantic references, is in direct contact with the Print preparation. The volume will consist of twelve volumes of 30 sheets each.
