The research focus of the office site in Münster has been on the edition of texts of the Church Fathers that have survived and the compilation of a finding aid of the Greek early Christian writings on papyrus. Since 1995, work has focused on the edition of the Church Father Nilus of Ancyra (died around 430). In addition, the "Lexicon Gregorianum" was developed.
